CWA internship at Brusellas

Water Platform, “Caribbean Water Association”, with another achievement to continue contributing with one of its goals which is interchanging knowledge in order to conduct research and develop knowledge in the field of water.
“Caribbean Water Association”, which used to be “Plataforma di Awa di Antia” (Water Platform of Aruba and the Antilles) has managed to send a student of the University of the Antilles (UNA) with a specific task of the Platform to go and get training at VEWIN at Bruxelles. VEWIN is “Vereniging Waterbedrijven in Nederland” (Association of Water Companies in the Netherlands) and also has an office in Belgium.
The specific task that the student Daniel Corsen is going carry out is exploring all the possibilities that exist in the European Union for subsidy that the Water Platform could use. What he has to investigate is the type of subsidy that exist, what has to be done to qualify as a Platform, investigate all the criteria that are required by this type of subsidy. At the same time he has to open ways for second candidate to follow this course.
As of the month of September, this student will stay 6 months, which seems little for this first course, but that has still to be demonstrated.
Daniel Corsen is a 22-year old student in the field of International Business at the University of the Netherlands Antilles. Due to the cooperation that the Platform has with the UNA, it became possible to send a student of the University.
The Management of Caribbean Water Association is extremely proud with this achievement.
